The Sankofa Vow was made inside The House of Slaves on Gorée Island, off the coast of Dakar, Senegal. I felt the power and resilience of my ancestors. In that sacred moment, I promised to share our stories through art, truth, & soul. On Jan. 15, 2017, The Soultown Magazine was born.
